Klein, Movsisyan find success after Wizards
Pair are on opposite sides in MLS Cup final

SEATTLE - Two former Kansas City Wizards will be on opposite sides of today’s MLS Cup final at Qwest Field in Seattle.

Chris Klein will lineup for the Los Angeles Galaxy while Yura Movsisyan will do the same for Real Salt Lake.

Klein, now 33 years of age, played for the Wizards for eight seasons (1998-2005). He appeared in the 2000 MLS Cup final and delivered the game-winning assist on Miklos Molnar’s goal, the only goal in Kansas City’s 1-0 victory over the Chicago Fire.

The Wizards traded Klein to Real Salt Lake before the 2006 season, and then was traded to the Galaxy midway through the 2007 season for Nathan Sturgis and Robbie Findley.

Movsisyan, who is 22 years of age, was the fourth overall pick in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. He played 28 games until he was traded to Real Salt Lake on Sept. 14, 2007. Movsisyan has picked up his goal-scoring rate since his time with the Wizards. He scored eight in MLS games this season. He scored five in his time with Kansas City.

After the MLS Cup final, Movsisyan will complete a transfer to Randers in the Danish first division.
